Drug peddler arrested in Sopore | Contraband substance recovered

Sopore, Dec 20: Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Police have arrested drug peddler in Sopore and recovered contraband substances from his possession.

A police party of Police Station Sopore headed by SHO Police Station Sopore under the supervision of SDPO Sopore at checkpoint established near Ziyarat Shareef Syed Sultan Arampora Sopore arrested a drug peddler identified as Nissar Ahmad Changa resident of Arampora Sopore. During the search, 6.9 grams of heroin-like substance were recovered from his possession. He has been shifted to the police station where he remains in custody.
