Drug peddler arrested in Shopian: Police

Shopian, Feb 5: A drug peddler was arrested during checking at a check post in Shopian after Police recovered a heroin-like substance from his possession on Monday.

A local news gathering agency KDC said that under the supervision of SSP Shopian Tanushree, Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered a heroin-like substance from his possession.

Police identified the drug peddler as Abdul Rasheed Lone of Sarepora Budan Sopore, Baramulla. A case under FIR No 23/2024 under Section 8/21 of the NDPS Act was registered at Police Station Shopian.
