Drug peddler arrested in Budgam
Budgam, June 11: In continuation of its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Police in Budgam have arrested a drug peddler and recovered psychotropic substances from his possession.
On receiving information from reliable sources about one person of Choon Budgam believed to have concealed psychotropic substances in his residential house, a special Police team headed by SHO Budgam raided the spot.
During search, Alprazolam 3 Strips (65 tablets), Clonazepam 4 Strips (50 Tablets), Carispas 1 Strip (65 tablets) and SpasmoProxyvon Plus -24 tablets were recovered from the residential house of Uzlifat Nazir, resident of Choon Budgam. He has been arrested and shifted to the police station where he remains in custody.
Accordingly, a case under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Budgam and investigation has been taken up.
