Drone movement | Army personnel resort to fire in air in Rajouri sector

Rajouri, May 12: Personnel  of Indian Army guarding Line of Control (LoC)  in Keri area of Rajouri sector resorted to aerial domination fire after noticing a suspected drone movement.

The incident took place in the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday and the area was also put under close vigil and searches were conducted  on Sunday.

Official sources said that last night army personnel  on routine duty on LoC in Keri area of Rajouri sector noticed suspected drone movement amid apprehension of intrusion of drone from LoC or its flying in the area.

The movement, official sources said, was promptly responded with troops resorting  to aerial domination fire with aim to shot down the aerial vehicle.

"The area was put under close vigil thereafter and searches were also conducted." they said
