Driver dies in Poonch road accident

Poonch, Jan 26: A driver died after his vehicle met with an accident near Baghiote area of Mendhar in Poonch on Sunday.

Officials said that a Tata mobile vehicle bearing registration number JK11A-3930 lost its control allegedly due to overspeeding near Baghiote resulting in an accident.

In this incident, the driver of the vehicle died on spot.

The officials identified as deceased as Mohd Javid, son of Mohd Akbar, resident of Kasblari Mankote.

Police have registered a case in this regard and investigation has been taken up. (GNS)
