Dr Syed Sajjad Hussain honoured at International Fertility Conference

New Delhi, Dec 16: Dr Syed Sajjad Hussain, Additional Joint Secretary of the Indian Fertility Society (IFS) and Patron of the IFS Kashmir Chapter, received national recognition at the International Fertility Conference *Fertivision-2025*, held at Leela Ambience, New Delhi.

At the valedictory function, Dr Hussain was awarded a Gold Medal for his pivotal role as Co-Convener of the National IFS Quiz Programme, which witnessed participation from across the country and was widely appreciated for its academic rigour.

During the conference, he delivered a lecture titled *“Male Infertility in an ART Level-1 Setting”* before a packed gathering of national and international delegates. His presentation focused on evidence-based evaluation, cost-effective management strategies, and structured referral pathways aligned with India’s Assisted Reproductive Technology framework, earning praise from fertility specialists, academicians and policymakers.

The Indian Fertility Society formally acknowledged Dr. Hussain’s academic leadership, his contribution towards strengthening fertility care in Jammu and Kashmir, and his continued representation of India at international reproductive medicine forums.

He also chaired a high-level scientific session featuring Prof. Nikolaos P. Polyzos, Scientific Director, Dexeus Fertility, Barcelona, Spain, further underscoring his stature as a respected academic leader on global platforms.
