Dr. Kamili, former HOD Medicine SMHS Hospital passes away

Srinagar, Mar 31: Dr. Mir Muqtasid Ahmed Kamili, the former HOD Medicine SMHS Hospital passed away on the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday.

It is worth mentioning that the noted and renowned physician was also the Sajadah Nisheen of Buqai Akhmalia (RA), and was widely known in his professional circle and general public by the name Dr. Kamili.

Dr. Kamili, aged 70, had been battling various health issues, for the past few months. He breathed his last in SMHS Hospital, Srinagar.

According to the family sources, his Namaz-e-Jinazah shall be offered today on 31st of March (Sunday) at 2.30 pm at Khanqah-i-Moula Srinagar.

Thereafter, he shall be laid to rest at an ancestral graveyard inside Aastana Mir Syed Mohi-ud-Din Mehdi (RA) at Pandan, Nowhatta.
