Dr Farooq, Omar, Soz greet people on Dussehra, Maha Navami

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President, Member of Parliament from Srinagar, Dr Farooq Abdullah, and Vice President Omar Abdullah Monday greeted people on the auspicious occasion of Maha Navami and Dussehra.

In their message, Dr Farooq, Omar Abdullah stated that both the festivities celebrate the triumph of truth over falsehood. Such festivals, they further stated, help in the furtherance of a country’s spiritual and cultural inheritance.

Former union minister and Congress leader Prof Saifuddin Soz has greeted people on the auspicious occasion of Maha Navami and Dussehra.

In a statement issued here Soz said that both the festivities celebrate the triumph of truth over falsehood and such festivals help in the furtherance of a country’s spiritual and cultural inheritance.

Several NC leaders have also extended warm greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra and Mahanavmi.
