Dr Farooq, Omar Abdullah pay tributes to Ghulam Hassan Bhat on his death anniversary

Srinagar, May 16: National Conference President, Dr Farooq Abdullah, and party Vice-President and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, paid heartfelt tributes to the veteran party leader and former minister, Ghulam Hassan Bhat of Qazigund, on the occasion of his death anniversary.

In a message Dr Farooq Abdullah said, “Late Bhat sahib was a true son of the soil who dedicated his life to serving the people. On this solemn anniversary, I extend my deepest tributes to him. I pray to the Almighty for peace for his soul. His sacrifice and unwavering commitment to our party and the people of this state will be remembered for generations to come.”

In his message, Omar Abdullah said, “Late Bhat Sahib exemplified the principles of truth, courage, and peace, ultimately laying down his life for these ideals. On this day, I honour his memory with my heartfelt tributes.”
