Dr Farooq, Omar Abdullah, Mehbooba condole demise
Srinagar, May 2: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah, and Vice President and HCM Omar Abdullah Friday expressed profound grief over the passing of the renowned Islamic scholar and preacher, Maulana Mubarak Mubarki, president of Bazm-e-Tawheed and Khateeb of Bazar Masjid.
In their heartfelt message, the duo acknowledged the immense loss felt by the people at the departure of Maulana Mubarki, who left behind a legacy of devotion, unity, and social service. Recognized for his wisdom, humility, and unwavering commitment to Islamic teachings, they emphasised how Maulana Mubarki had touched countless lives through his sermons and religious guidance. They prayed for peace to the departed soul in the highest echelons of Jannat and fortitude to the grieving family during this difficult time.
President of Jammu & Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti expressed her deep sorrow and profound sadness at the passing of Maulana Mubarak.
“Maulana Mubarak Mubarki Sahab was a revered scholar, a beacon of wisdom, and a guiding light for the community. His tireless efforts in promoting unity, compassion, and spiritual harmony through his leadership and sermons left an indelible mark on countless lives. His demise is an irreparable loss to the people of Jammu & Kashmir and beyond,” Mehbooba said.
In this moment of immense grief, Mehbooba Mufti extended heartfelt condolences to Maulana Mubarak’s family, loved ones, and followers. “May Allah (SWT) forgive his shortcomings, grant him the highest place in Jannah-tul-Firdous, and make his grave a garden from the gardens of Paradise. May Allah (SWT) also grant sabr-e-jameel to his family and all those mourning this profound loss. Ameen,” Mehbooba said.
“I join the people of Jammu & Kashmir in honoring the legacy of Maulana Mubarak Mubarki Sahab, whose teachings and contributions will continue to inspire generations,” she added.
Meanwhile, senior NC leaders Ali Muhammad Sagar, Addl general secretary Dr. Sheikh Mustafa Kamal, Advisor to HCM Nasir Aslam Wani, senior leaders Shameema Firdous, Mubarak Gul have also extended heartfelt condolences to the Mubarki household during their hour of grief and loss.
Meanwhile, patron of Jamait-e-Hamdani Moulana Riyaz Hamdani and chief spokesperson GM Saqi also condoled the demise and recounted the contribution of Mubarki to society.
