Dr Farooq, Omar Abdullah express anguish over loss of lives

Srinagar, July 30: National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah Tuesday expressed grief over the death of four youngsters in a blast at a scrap dealership shop in Sopore.

The duo extend their heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the bereaved families and pray that Almighty give them enough strength to bear this colossal loss.

Dr Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah called on the administration to thoroughly investigate the circumstances surrounding the blast. They also urged the authorities to provide the affected families with the necessary relief and compensation.

While expressing grief over the unfortunate incident, Party General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, Treasurer Shammi Oberoi, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, Chief Spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq, North Zone President Javed Dar, District President Baramulla Dr Sajad Shafi Uri, and constituency Incharge Sopore Irshad Rasool Kar have also called on the administration to conduct a thorough investigation into the incident and provide support to the grieving families.
