Dr Farooq, Omar Abdullah condole demise

Srinagar, Dec 3 : The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Party President and MP from Srinagar Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah have expressed profound grief over the demise of Alhaj Abdul Majeed Wani of Chowkibal Manzgam.

The duo prayed for peace to the departed and fortitude to the bereaved, a press release said. The deceased was the maternal uncle of senior party leader Choudhary Muhammad Ramzan.

Meanwhile the President and Vice President have also expressed grief over the demise of former bureaucrat and journalist Haji Ghulam Rasool Mir of Bandipora. The deceased was a close associate of the late Sheikh Nazir Ahmad.
