Dr Farooq, Omar Abdullah anguished
Srinagar, Jan 7: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President, Dr Farooq Abdullah, and Vice President, and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Tuesday expressed sorrow over the recent fire incident that resulted in the destruction of six residential houses and several shops in Nowhatta locality of Srinagar.
The duo stand in solidarity with the affected households and traders, offering prayers for their swift recovery. Additionally, the Party Vice President and Chief Minister has instructed the administration to provide immediate relief and compensation to the affected families.
Party General Secretary and MLA Khanyar, Ali Muhammad Sagar, also expressed his sadness over the tragic incident and urged the administration to assess the damages and promptly distribute compensation to those affected.
Meanwhile, YNC Provincial President and MLA Hazratbal Salman Sagar visited the affected families on the directions of Ali Muhammad Sagar to assess the losses firsthand. He has been in contact with the district administration, stressing the urgent need for assistance to the devastated families and traders.
