Dr Farooq offers Friday congregational prayers at Dargah Hazratbal
Srinagar, Oct 18: The President of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference, Dr. Farooq Abdullah offered Friday congregational prayers at Asar-e-Sharif Dargah Hazratbal, alongside thousands of other devotees.
He fervently prayed for lasting peace and prosperity in the region.
In the meantime, numerous individual and group delegations visited the party president at his residence to extend their congratulations on the party's success in the recent elections.
Among the visitors was a delegation led by party Minority Wing leader Sardar JS Azad and other distinguished members, who highlighted the multitude of issues faced by the Sikh community in Kashmir. Dr. Farooq assured the delegation that the government would attend to these pressing issues.
