Dr Farooq greets people on Navratri

Srinagar, Sep 23: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah has extended greetings to the people of Jammu & Kashmir and the entire nation on the auspicious occasion of Navratri, said a press release.

In his message, Dr Farooq said, "Navratri is a celebration of devotion, strength, and the victory of good over evil. It is a time to reflect on the values of righteousness, compassion, and unity.

He further emphasised the importance of maintaining the spirit of communal harmony and brotherhood, which has always been the hallmark of Jammu & Kashmir's rich cultural heritage. He called upon the people to celebrate the festival in accordance with its true spirit with devotion, discipline, and dedication towards the greater good of society.
