Dr Farooq extends greetings on Mahanavami, Dussehra

Srinagar, Sep 30: The Jammu & Kashmir National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah Tuesday extended greetings to the people of Jammu & Kashmir and the entire nation on the auspicious occasions of Mahanavami and Dussehra.

In his message, Dr Abdullah said, “These festivals are a celebration of the triumph of good over evil, and a reminder of the enduring values of truth, righteousness, and justice that form the core of our great cultural and spiritual traditions. Mahanavami and Dussehra inspire us to stand firm in the face of adversity and uphold the ideals that strengthen our unity and harmony.”

Dr Farooq expressed hope that these festivals will bring peace, prosperity, and happiness to all communities, and further strengthen the spirit of brotherhood and inclusiveness across the region.

He also prayed for the well-being of the people of Jammu & Kashmir and the entire country, urging everyone to celebrate these occasions in the spirit of togetherness and mutual respect.
