Dr Farooq expresses condolences on demise of Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia

Srinagar, Sep 25: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah has expressed condolences on the demise of Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah Al-Sheikh, the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia, who passed away at the age of 82.

In a statement, Dr. Farooq conveyed his sympathies, describing Sheikh Abdul Aziz as a towering figure of knowledge, spirituality, and wisdom.

“The passing of Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Sheikh is a great loss to the Muslim Ummah and the world at large. His life was dedicated to upholding the values of Islam, promoting peace, and guiding millions through his immense knowledge and piety," Dr Abdullah added.
