Dr Farooq, CM Omar pay tribute to Sufi Ghulam Mohammad on his 16th death anniversary

Srinagar, Nov 17: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah paid heartfelt tributes to the founder-editor of the Srinagar Times and renowned short story writer, Sufi Ghulam Mohammad, on his death anniversary.

In their message, they remembered Sofi Sahib’s cheerful and generous nature and lauded his remarkable contributions to journalism and literature.

Recognized for his integrity and amiable personality, they described him as a true pioneer who laid the foundation for impartial and unbiased reporting in the vernacular press, championing the rights of the common man for more than five decades. They prayed to Almighty Allah to grant his soul the highest place in Jannat.
