Dr Farooq Abdullah will go to jail: Apni Party President

Rajouri, May 20: Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Monday said that National Conference (NC) President and former Chief Minister Dr Farooq Abdullah will go to jail and the papers for this are ready.

Bukhari was talking to media persons here. “ He will go to jail for scam and papers for this are completely ready. The attempts of Dr Farooq not to go to jail will not prevent him from going to jail," he said.

The Apni Party was referring to JKCA scam and also issued statement during his address in Rajouri rally and said that NC President is making big statements but he should remember JKCA scam in which bats and kits meant for youth went missing. In reply to a question regarding increase in voters turnout across Kashmir valley, Altaf Bukhari claimed that this is the result of policies introduced by J&K Apni Party.

"We are not those who made remarks that there will be no one to hold flag in Kashmir valley but we changed political landscape in such an aspect which is yielding result and it is in front of everyone. It is our win and today flag of India is in every house of J&K,” Bukhari said.

Replying to a recent statement of Dr Farooq Abdullah that those who brought gun culture in Kashmir are dearer to BJP now, J&K Apni Party President Altaf Bukhari reminded NC leader of his statement made during JKLF Muzaffarabad convention.

"He should remember his statement during JKLF Muzaffarabad convention in which he had stated that he (Dr Farooq) is with JKLF," Bukhari said adding that Dr Farooq changes colours with time.

Apni Party President also expressed deep shock over the tragic demise of Iranian President, Ebrahim Raisi in a helicopter crash.
