Dr Farooq Abdullah prays for peace, prosperity

Srinagar, Jul 4: National Conference (NC) President Dr Farooq Abdullah today prayed for peace, prosperity, and relief from heatwave in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.

According to a press release, he paid obeisance at the revered shrine of Hazrat Baba Payam ud Din Reshi (RA) in Gulmarg.

During his visit, Dr. Farooq offered prayers for lasting peace, communal harmony, and overall prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. He also prayed for an end to the prolonged dry spell and sought divine relief from the scorching heat affecting the region.

Later, he joined thousands of devotees at Jamia Hanfia, Tangmarg, where he offered Friday congregational prayers and also interacted with locals.
