Dr Farooq Abdullah condoles demise of ex-Dy Director

Srinagar, Nov 17: National Conference (NC) President Dr Farooq Abdullah today condoled the demise of Haji Mir Abdul Hamid, former Deputy Director of Fisheries and a respected social figure from Safa Kadal, who was later residing in Soura.

Dr Farooq extended condolences to his son, Tariq Ahmed and brother, Mohammad Farooq Mir, recalling his college days with the late Abdul Hamid.

Chief Spokesperson of NC Tanvir Sadiq also offered sympathies. Both leaders prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul.

Meanwhile, Chief patron Jamait-e- Hamdani Moulana Riyaz Hamdani has also condoled the demise of Mir Abdul Hamid. A delegation of Jamait led by Chief Spokesperson G M Saqi visited the bereaved family and offered condolence especially to Tariq Ahmad and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
