Dr Farooq Abdullah, Altaf Bukhari, Soz extend new year greetings to people

Srinagar, Dec 31: National Conference (NC) President Dr Farooq Abdullah, Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari and former Union Minister Prof Saifuddin Soz have extended greetings to the people of J&K on the eve of the new year.

In his New Year greeting, Dr Farooq said, “I extend warm wishes to the people of Jammu and Kashmir, hoping that the new year augurs well for increased prospects of peace and prosperity in J&K.”

Advisor to CM Nasir Aslam Wani, Party’s General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, Additional General Secretary Dr Sheikh Mustafa Kamal, Party Treasurer Shammi Oberoi, Chief Spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq have also greeted people on the eve of new Gregorian year.

In his message, Altaf Bukhari said, “I extend my heartfelt greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the occasion of the beginning of the New Year. May the year 2025 be filled with a spirit of peace and well-being for everyone, and may it bring with it a renewed sense of hope for the future.”

“The people of J&K have suffered immensely in the past due to the persistent uncertainty and instability in this region. May the Almighty usher in a new era of peace, hope, and well-being for everyone here,” he added.

Former Union Minister and Congress leader Prof Saifuddin Soz said, “I extend my heartfelt greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the occasion of the beginning of the New Year. May the year 2025 be filled with a spirit of peace and well-being for everyone, and may it bring with it a renewed sense of hope for the future.”
