Dr Arshia Khajooria Hazarika honoured with award

Jammu, Nov 16: Dr Arshia Khajooria Hazarika, daughter of former J&K DGP late M M Khajooria, was honoured with the prestigious Aarika award at the first-ever International Conference for women – ‘Pink print’, organized by IIA Chapter Odisha from November 8 to 11, 2024.

A distinguished independent researcher and educationist, Dr Hazarika has made significant contributions to architecture and academia.

She has served as a faculty member at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University and held the esteemed position of Head of Department at Nitte School of Architecture, Bangalore.

“Known for her expertise in sustainable design, research, and curriculum development, she continues to inspire through her dedication to education and the architectural profession,” said a press statement.
