Srinagar, Oct 4: Three students from Delhi Public School Srinagar brought glory to India by winning silver medals at the 3rd Junior Asian Pencak Silat Championship, held at the SK Indoor Sports Complex in Srinagar with participation from 11 countries.

As per a statement issued on Saturday, making the victory even more special, the championship was held right here on home soil at the SK Indoor Sports Complex in Srinagar, from September 25th to 30th. The championship brought together 11 countries and 12 teams.

In a powerful demonstration of skill and tenacity against Asia’s elite, three of our most formidable athletes ascended the podium clinching coveted Silver Medals. The school and the nation celebrate the monumental achievements of Hurriyah Showkat (Class 11th), Samma (Class 11th), and Mysha Bilal Kanth (Class 10th).
