DPS Srinagar, Life School advance to BML Basketball Finals

Srinagar, Oct 3: Delhi Public School (DPS) Srinagar and Life School Charari Sharief dominated their respective semifinal matches in the Second BML Basketball Silver Rolling Trophy at BOMIS Pampore today.

In the boys' semifinal, DPS Srinagar outplayed Doon International School Srinagar 36-19. Team captain Murtaza Ahmed led the charge with 11 points and 5 assists, earning him Player of the Match honours.

The girls' semifinal saw Life School Charari Sharief overwhelm defending champions Green Valley Educational Institute Srinagar in a one-sided contest, winning 21-3. Team captain Adeena earned Player of the Match recognition with 12 points and 2 assists.

"Both winning teams displayed exceptional skills and strategic gameplay today," said Wasim Beigh, Director of Physical Education & Sports at BOMIS Pampore, during the post-match presentation.
