Dozens of workers join NC in Uri
Uri, Aug 21: Ahead of assembly elections in J&K which are being conducted after a decade, JKNC District President Baramulla, Dr Sajjad Shafi Uri has wrapped up all block-level meetings in sub-division Uri.
According to a press release, during the meeting of five blocks of sub-division Uri, Dr Sajjad requested his party members to gear up for the upcoming elections.
“Let us fight this battle with full zeal and zest and throw the communal forces out of Uri. We need to stand firm,” he said.
He also requested his workers to go door to door and make everyone understand the significance of this election.
During these sessions, dozens of new workers from different political parties like PC, Congress, Apni Party joined the NC, and Dr Sajjad Uri welcomed them whole heartedly into the party fold. Those who joined include Er Saif Din Kataria, ex- SE, youth activist Sagar from Boniyar with almost 30 young faces, Ab Majeed Sheikh, a retired SI Police department, Habibullah Sheikh from Balkote, Mohammed Sadiq Mangral from Nambla, Shabir Ahmad Parry from Balkote, Naresh Kumar, Galvandar Kumar, Sandeep Kumar, Raju Kumar from Lagama village, Adv Umar Alam Khan and Abdul Sattar Lone and others.
