Doda gears up for SVEEP activities

Doda, Aug 21: Election Authorities in Doda have geared up for an intensive Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) Campaign ahead of Legislative Assembly Elections.

Nodal Officer for Assured Minimum facilities (AMF) and SVEEP Parkash Lal Thapa (CEO) today discussed Activity plan for conducting Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) Campaign here at a Virtual meeting with the Constituency Level Nodal Officers and Booth Level Officers (BLOs) of 534 polling stations.

The CEO said that a comprehensive plan for SVEEP activities is being shared with all HOIs of the District to implement the same in letter and spirit for spreading awareness about voting right among youth.

ZICCs were directed to communicate the schedule of activities with the School Nodal Officers and upload the 2 photographs and details of each activity on a daily basis for compilation and submission to higher authorities.

The CEO emphasized the importance of coordination and communication among the officers for the success of the campaign.

The officers were briefed about their role and responsibilities and discussions focused on different aspects of making full arrangements at polling stations.

The virtual meeting was attended by 03 Assembly Constituency Level Nodal Officers (AC 51, 52 and 53) and BLOs of 534 polling stations who assured the CEO of their commitment to conducting the Assembly elections with integrity.
