Doctors at GMC Rajouri perform first cholecystostomy

Rajouri, Nov 28: Doctors in Associated Hospital of Government Medical College Rajouri performed a first cholecystostomy procedure on an aged male patient.

The team was headed by Dr Waseem (Assistant professor Radiology) and assisted by Dr Sajid (Assistant professor surgery) and Dr Arshad from Radiology.

The patient on whom this procedure was performed is a 65 years old male.The patient was medically unfit for surgery, doctors said, adding that he was managed with a minimally invasive approach successfully.
