DLSA, Traffic police hold road safety awareness programme in Bhaderwah

Bhaderwah Jan 10: As part of the ongoing National Road Safety Month, the Traffic Police, in collaboration with the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), organised an awareness programme at Seri Bazaar, Bhaderwah, to sensitise drivers about strict adherence to traffic rules, provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act and safe driving practices.

DySP Traffic Farooq Khateeb distributed chocolates among the drivers adhering to all the traffic rules to encourage safe driving.

The programme in which drivers of commercial and private vehicles were educated about the importance of adhering to traffic rules in letter and spirit for their safety and that of passengers.

During the programme, senior Advocate of District Legal Services Authority Mohd Majid Malik urged people to adhere to road safety norms thereby preventing road accidents and loss of valuable lives.
