DLSA Srinagar organises oral health awareness camp

Srinagar, Aug 12: The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Srinagar, in collaboration with the Department of Social Welfare Srinagar and Department of Public Health/Community Dentistry, Government Dental College & Hospital Srinagar today organised an oral health awareness and treatment camp was held at Harwan.

The camp focused on Oral Hygiene and Dental Treatments at the Child Care Institutions, Parisha and Palash, was held under the directions of Justice Tashi Rabstan, Chief Justice (A) High Court of J&K and Ladakh (Patron-in-chief & Executive Chairman J&K Legal Services Authority) and under the supervision of Jawad Ahmed, Chairman of the DLSA (Principal District & Sessions Judge) Srinagar.

The main objective of this said awareness camp was to enhance awareness among the children of both institutions regarding oral health practices and to ensure they receive timely dental care.

The initiative aimed to foster a culture of health consciousness from a young age, equipping students with the knowledge to maintain their oral health effectively.
