Panel lawyer DLSA Srinagar raised awareness among the students about the legal protection available to minors and the harmful impact of substance abuse. She said that drug abuse is a great challenge for society to tackle, as it has engulfed the whole generation. It is thus the need of the hour to have a strict watch on the children, so that they will not indulge in this menace, she added.

Panel lawyer also sensitised the students about the Right to Education in India, guaranteed by Article 21A of the Constitution and the Right to Education Act (RTE) 2009, which ensures free and compulsory education for children aged 6-14. Furthermore, she also made the audience aware of the prevention of child exploitation.
