DLSA Baramulla organises medical camp
Baramulla, Nov 22: The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Baramulla, in collaboration with the Department of Health organised a week-long medical camp at the ADR Centre Baramulla.
The camp was inaugurated by Principal District & Sessions Judge, Baramulla, Jawad Ahmad, who is also Chairman, DLSA Baramulla.
The camp is aimed to focus on the early detection and management of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) such as diabetes, hypertension, and other lifestyle-related conditions.
The inaugural event was attended by Javid Ahmad Parray, Secretary, DLSA Baramulla; Neelofar, President, Bar Association Baramulla; members of the Bar Association; court staff; and Para Legal Volunteers (Adhikar Mitras).
This initiative is part of DLSA’s broader mission to enhance health awareness and ensure access to essential healthcare services for all stakeholders in the legal community.
The medical camp offers free health checkups, expert consultations, and health education sessions. These services aim to promote preventive care and improve the overall health of the legal fraternity, court staff, litigants, and visitors. By focusing on early intervention, the camp seeks to address growing concerns around lifestyle diseases and their impact.
The week-long camp will remain operational at the ADR Centre Baramulla, providing accessible and vital healthcare services. All members of the legal fraternity, as well as court staff and litigants, are encouraged to utilize this opportunity to prioritize their health and well-being.
