Rajouri, Jun 3: In an effort to provide quality healthcare to under-served populations, the Indian Army organised a multi-speciality medical camp in remote border areas of Nowshera.

The event aimed to deliver essential medical services to local villagers who often have limited access to specialised healthcare facilities.

A team of army medical officers and specialist doctors offered free consultations and medicines to residents of border villages. Specialities included General Medicine, Surgical, Ortho, ENT, and Dental. The event drew an overwhelming response from the local population and a total of 160 civilians got benefitted from this camp. Furthermore, 78 local students were given medical check ups and CPR class was conducted for them including teachers.

Community leaders expressed heartfelt gratitude for the outreach, calling it a "lifeline" for those with no regular access to healthcare. The initiative was part of the Army's ongoing efforts to foster goodwill and improve the quality of life for border communities.
