He appealed to people to use electricity judiciously and avoid hooking or power theft.

Bidhuri said that if anyone praises developmental projects undertaken in the city, the credit goes to people and everyone who cooperated during the time the works were being carried out.
He said that there were many projects in the pipeline which would be rolled out gradually to give a new look to Srinagar city.

“We are mulling to reactivate river transport in the city to provide convenience to the people. Also electric buses that ply on several routes in the district will be put on roads during night hours,” the Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, said.

He said that the authorities were monitoring developmental projects undertaken in the city and elsewhere and were keenly working to complete these projects within the period given for their completion.
“The work on Botengo flyover is underway. Further two major flyovers in Srinagar - Bemina and Sanat Nagar - will also be completed by March and June 2024,” Dulloo said.
