Kishtwar, July 7: The District Treasury Office Kishtwar successfully organises a comprehensive training programme on Single Nodal Account Samyochit Pronali Akarit Shigr Hastantaran (SNA-SPARSH) for Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) and Dealing Assistants of the district. The training was specifically designed for officials operating Centrally Sponsored Schemes.

The programme aimed to enhance the efficiency of fund management under these schemes and familiarise participants with the SNA-SPARSH system for seamless financial operations.

District Treasury Officer, Shoket Ali Rather led the training session, emphasising the critical role of SNA-SPARSH in strengthening financial governance.

He also guided the participants about key features of the new pension system, including login procedures, uploading of documents, digital verification and submission of pension cases through the online platform.

DTO emphasised the importance of speedy and error-free pension case processing and urged all DDOs to ensure full compliance with the new digital procedure.

During the training session about SNA-SPARSH, NIC Resource person Amit Gupta provided a detailed demonstration on bill generation using JKPaySys, covering the process from DDO maker to checker login.

Participants received step-by-step instructions on uploading bills/claims on the portal and submitting them to the treasury for payment.

The training also covered the procedure for fetching budget allocations for respective schemes and bill-making protocols, adhering to both UT and Centre guidelines.

The programme witnessed active participation from DDOs and Dealing Assistants associated with the district treasury and its subordinate treasuries.
