District-level volleyball tournament kick-starts in Baramulla

Baramulla, Jan 15: Under the theme of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA), a district-level volleyball tournament was inaugurated on Wednesday at Boys Higher Secondary School, Baramulla.

The event, as per the officials, is aimed at engaging youth in meaningful activities and raising awareness about the harmful effects of substance abuse.

Organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, with support from the Social Welfare Department, the tournament serves as a platform to promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and discipline among the youth while encouraging a drug-free lifestyle.
