Discussed Sopore, Kathua incidents with HM: Jammu and Kashmir CM Omar Abdullah

Ganderbal, Feb 12: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today said that he took up the Sopore and Kathua incidents with the Home Minister in New Delhi and demanded a transparent inquiry.
Talking to media persons during his visit to central Kashmir's Ganderbal, the CM said that there were several issues discussed with regard to Jammu and Kashmir.
Omar said that he raised the Sopore and Kathua incidents with the Home Minister and demanded a transparent inquiry and action against the guilty.

Omar said the issue of statehood and upcoming budget of the J&K also came under discussion.

The CM made these remarks while talking to journalists after visiting a fire-affected family in the Beehama area of the district.
