Director Sericulture extends greetings on eve of Eid-ul-Adha

Srinagar, June 16: On the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, Ajaz Ahmad Bhat (IAS), Director Sericulture, J&K extended  his warm greetings and heartfelt wishes to all respected citizens, especially  silkworm rearers, dedicated farmers, vibrant youth, and diligent employees.

On the occasion, the Director Sericulture, while sharing his valuable insights, narrated that the Eid-Ul-Adha is the festival which enthuses a spirit of giving and sharing with those in need,  fostering a sense of  brotherhood among people across the board. "This festival reminds us of the importance of resilience, hard work, and the strength that comes from unity and values that resonate deeply within the sericulture community," he said.

He further highlighted that the unwavering dedication and hard work of silkworm rearers and farmers are the backbone of sericulture industry. "Their efforts ensure the continued growth and success of this vital sector, contributing significantly to the economy of Jammu & Kashmir."

While addressing employees of the Sericulture Department, he acknowledged their professionalism and dedication and termed their contribution as invaluable.

On this auspicious occasion of Eid-Ul-Adha he called for renewed commitment to work together for the betterment of society and the prosperity of the sericulture industry.
