Director Agriculture Kashmir reviews physical, financial achievements of HADP projects

Srinagar, Sep 1: The director agriculture Kashmir Sartaj Ahmad Shah Monday convened a meeting to take stock of the physical and financial achievements of the department under all projects of Holistic agriculture development program (HADP), CAPEX, CSS and NABARD.

The meeting was convened at agriculture complex Lalmandi Srinagar and was attended by Joint directors, chief agriculture officers, provincial heads, scheme heads, sectoral officers of the department.

During the meeting, the implementation of projects under the Holistic Agriculture Development Program (HADP) were discussed threadbare.

Different Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS) being implemented by the department were also discussed in detail.

Addressing the meeting director agriculture Kashmir Sartaj Ahmad Shah highlighted the importance of expeditious and judicious expenditure of funds under different projects of HADP, CAPEX and CSS.

He asked the officers that funds allocated under HADP projects, different components of CSS must be expended in time bound manner.

He reiterated the importance of maintaining the highest level of transparency and accountability during all the expenditures.

Director agriculture directed the officers to reach out to the farmers of every area and make them aware about HADP and latest farmer friendly technologies in agriculture and allied activities.

He asked the officers to work in collaboration with the farmer communities for the successful implementation of different projects at grass root level.

Earlier a power point presentation was given in the meeting to highlight the progress under different HADP projects, CSS, CAPEX and NABARD.
