Dilapidated road irks Qammarabad residents
Srinagar, Sep 19: Residents of Umer Lane, B Qammarabad area of Qamarwari have expressed concern over dilapidated road in the locality.
A delegation from the area said that in the absence of repairs, they face problems venturing out of their homes. “Dilapidated roads have made our lives miserable. Inhabitants, especially children, women, and aged face problems to walk on uneven muddy roads. During rains, the road turns into a cesspool,” they said.
“Shoes and clothes of our children get spoiled while walking on the muddy roads. They are suffering due to bad roads,” they added.
“We make a fervent appeal to Deputy Commissioner Srinagar to look into the matter and direct the concerned officials to repair and macamadise the road at the earliest,” they added.
