Meanwhile, on Tuesday, another two-wheeler had an accident due to a caved-in road. According to locals, a woman was injured and then taken to the nearby hospital for treatment.

“This road is fully macadamised, but due to improper work, the road has caved in, and it is invisible to the commuters from a distance. This makes it more dangerous, and today, again, a two-wheeler carrying a lady met with an accident. On a daily basis, at least two to three mishaps happen here. These commuters have a narrow escape, and sometimes it will end up killing people if authorities do not look into it,” said a local.

“The issue has been there for years, but recently, authorities tried to fix it and blacktopped the road, but unfortunately, it caved in again. We appeal to them to fix it properly so that lives are not lost to accidents,” said a commuter.
