Commuters in Srinagar and south Kashmir districts said that they often have to navigate a rough patch full of massive potholes, which is affecting the flow of traffic in the area.
“Driving from Pantha Chowk to the Sempora stretch has become a nightmare. Many vehicles have been damaged after passing through an uneven road. At many places, the road has caved in around two feet,” said Abdul Hamid, a commuter.
The commuters said that besides private vehicles, ambulances carrying patients have a tough time due to the dilapidated road. “There are elderly people, patients travelling via the road who face a lot of inconvenience due to the bad condition of the road,” said the locals from the area.
