DIG Rly to probe charges against ex-SHO Domana

J&K Home Department has appointed senior IPS officer and DIG Railways, J&K Haseeb-Ur-Rehman as Inquiry Officer to conduct de-novo inquiry against retired SP Jagdev Singh Salathia.

According to an order issued by Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary) Home Raj Kumar Goyal, Suhaib Ashraf, Chief Prosecuting Officer, PHQ, will be the Presenting Officer in the case.

The Inquiry Officer has been asked to complete the de-novo enquiry and submit a report to the Home department within a period of thirty days.

An inquiry under Rule 33 of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956, was being held against Jagdev Singh Salathia, the then SHO Police Station, Domana (now retired SP).
