DIG CID Kashmir to hold inquiry against ex-Labour Procurement Officer

Jammu, June 15: DIG CID, Kashmir, Sujit Kumar has been appointed as Inquiry Officer to conduct a probe into the charges framed against former Labour Procurement Officer, Defence Labour Procurement Department, J&K.

He has been asked to submit an inquiry report within thirty days. CPO, CID, J&K Kamal Sharma will be the Presenting Officer.

“In terms of Rule 33 of J&K, Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956, Sujit Kumar, DIG, CID, Kashmir, is hereby appointed as Inquiry Officer to conduct an inquiry into the charges framed against Nissar Ahmad Wani, the then Labour Procurement Officer, Defence Labour Procurement Department, J&K,” read an order issued by Principal Secretary Home, Chandraker Bharti.

“Further, Kamal Sharma, CPO, CID, J&K, shall be the Presenting Officer. The Inquiry Officer shall complete the enquiry and submit a report to the Home department within a period of thirty days from the date of issuance of this order,” Bharti directed.
