DIG, 2 SPs, 5 DySPs posted in ACB

Jammu, May 14

J&K government Tuesday ordered the transfers of one Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police, two Superintendents of Police (SPs) and five Deputy Superintendents of Police (DySPs) and posted them in Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB).

These transfers and postings have been effected through three separate orders issued by the General Administration Department (GAD).

As per GAD order, senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officer and Deputy Inspector General of Police, Prisons, Vikas Gupta has been transferred and posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Anti Corruption Bureau, J&K against an available vacancy.

Similarly through a separate order, two Superintendents of Police (SPs) viz., Amit Verma, JKPS, Deputy CO Border Bn Jammu and SurinderKumar, JKPS, Deputy CO IR 24th Bn have also been transferred and posted in the Anti Corruption Bureau with immediate effect.

As per another GAD order, five Deputy Superintendents of Police (DySPs) viz., Narinder Singh from IR 16th Bn; Shwetambri Sharma from IR 15th Bn; Davinder Singh from HG Doda; Mudasir Tramboo from TRFC Pul-Shopian and ImranMalik from Crime Branch, Jammu have been transferred and posted in the Anti Corruption Bureau with immediate effect.
