DIET authorities inspect functioning of schools in Shopian

Shopian, May 28: To inspect the functioning of schools, Principal DIET Shopian, R G Dogra along with a team today conducted surprise visits to different schools falling under the zone Shopian Government Higher Secondary School Sedow, GHS Chotipora, BUPS Sedow, PS Kumar Mohalla Sedow.

During the visit, he interacted with students of different classes to take stock of the classroom teaching and other facilities being provided to them.The DIET Principal interacted with the heads of the institutions, he enquired about the teaching learning process and asked them to achieve the targets within set stipulated time.

He also interacted with the students and urged them to focus on studies to prepare themselves for the future challenges.

The DIET Principal was satisfied with the attendance of students in schools and expressed hope that this academic session will be taken in a mission mode by teachers and students alike.

DIET Principal Shopian said that when on one side the department is organising many activities, on the other side the monitoring of the teaching learning process shall continue by the already constituted teams and all the erring officials shall be dealt with sternly.

Principal DIET Shopian also asked the teachers to follow NEP.
