DIC Jammu hosts workshop to streamline NCSS claims for investors
Jammu, Sep 26: The District Industries Centre (DIC) Jammu, in collaboration with the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) Jammu, hosted a Grievance Redressal Workshop aimed at simplifying the claim-filing process under the New Central Sponsored Scheme (NCSS) for Industrial Development of J&K.
The workshop was chaired by Nasir Ali, Joint Director (M&P), Directorate of Industries, Jammu.
Held at the Directorate of Industries and Commerce conference hall, the session saw active participation from over 30 investors from across the Jammu region. The workshop’s primary objective was to address information gaps and resolve grievances faced by investors in navigating the NCSS framework.
During the interactive session, participants received detailed guidance on eligibility criteria, documentation requirements, and timelines for claim submission. Investors were encouraged to voice concerns and seek clarifications directly from DIC Jammu and PIU Jammu officials, fostering transparency and building confidence within the industrial community.
Nasir Ali highlighted the importance of such initiatives in bridging knowledge gaps and strengthening trust between the government and investors. The collaborative effort of DIC Jammu and PIU Jammu underscores their commitment to creating a supportive ecosystem for industrial growth in J&K.
