DHSK assesses health care services

Srinagar, Sep 24: Director Health Services, Kashmir (DHSK) Dr Jehangir Bakshi visited the far flung and remotest areas of Gurez Block of District Bandipora to assess the status of health care delivery systems in difficult and forward areas.

During his visit DHSK inspected CHC Dawar, PHC Sheikhpora, PHC Budogam, AAM-SC Badouab and AAM-SC Angaikot, an official statement said .

The extensive tour included detailed review of all the health care institutes with emphasis upon status of HR, medicines and national schemes, and assessment of measures required for upgradation of these facilities.

Director Health was accompanied by BMO Gurez Dr Tahira Nazir and other senior officers and officials of Block Gurez. DHSK apart from addressing various issues also assured the general public at Dawar that an eye camp shall be organised at CHC Dawar very soon.
