DGP sanctions merit scholarship for wards of police personnel

Jammu, Jan 18: To boost the morale and instil competitiveness among the wards of police personnel, the Director General of Police R R Swain has sanctioned the scholarship of about rupees 19 lakh in favour of 374 wards of serving, retired and deceased police personnel respectively under different orders issued by police headquarters.

Vide an order, the meritorious scholarship of rupees 17,42,000 has been sanctioned in favour of 344 wards of serving police personnel for securing 80% and above marks in the annual examination of class 10th during the academic session 2022-23.
