Jammu, Nov 22: Director General of Police J&K Nalin Prabhat on Saturday lauded the efforts of the security wing for bolstering the skills and preparedness of personnel.

He was chairing a detailed review meeting on the functioning of the security wing.

Review meeting was conducted during his visit to the J&K Police Security Wing Headquarters in Sidhra, Jammu, where he inaugurated the newly renovated conference-cum-training hall, marking a significant enhancement to the facilities of the security wing.

During the review meeting, the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Security, Sujit Kumar Singh presented a comprehensive overview of the Wing's operations and activities.

DGP appreciated the efforts of the security wing in conducting refresher training courses, aimed at enhancing the skills and preparedness of personnel. He also directed the Security Transport workshop to ensure timely service and repair of escort vehicles, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a robust security infrastructure.

The meeting was attended by senior officers, including ADGP Headquarters M K Sinha, ADGP Armed Anand Jain, IGP Jammu BS Tuti, IGP Railways Vivek Guta, and IGP Traffic Sulaiman Salaria, among others.

“The DGP's visit underscores the commitment of the J&K Police to strengthening security measures and enhancing operational efficiency, ensuring the safety and security of the people of Jammu and Kashmir,” a Police spokesperson said.
